UK vs US Book Covers Introduction

Image
From the moment I started Book Blogging, I soon realised there was a variation of covers for the same book; I did not know this before. However, I soon found myself comparing them, for example: I had always wanted to buy the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling and just assumed there was just the original covers, however, one day BAM! I see these bright, colourful and animated covers and I'm like: "I need these!!!" (Here are a few examples) So yes, I am slowly collecting them. Afterwards I soon realised that many countries have their own variations of covers for the same book. So, I have decided to start doing a comparison post EVERY SUNDAY of a UK vs US cover (Not sure if this has been done before, I have never seen it done!) as I am very curious as to how different they can be. And of course, you can participate to! In the comments of each post, state your favourite cover. Any comparisons you want to see? Comment below!
